Day 1

I believe that starting the class with the "collage" of words to describe the first video was a great intro! I was so inspired by the climbing video. It's great to see when young students can see that they are achieving!

I really enjoyed the class today. It was a real eye opener with how technology is used to assist people. Today we learned about 10 new terms. Although very quick, it was very informative. The 10 new apps that we learned about today will certainly come in handy in our day to day work. I enjoyed having the time to experiment with the app. There are a lot of creative people in the class...and such risk takers! Most of them just jumped into the activity. I felt that my partner and I were not quite up to speed but we did learn about the app.

The highlight of the class was watching the inspiring video about Aiden! Imagine! In such a short time, Aiden has learned so much. It certainly showed when he smiled. He knew that he was learning as well!

I am looking forward to tomorrow's class!
